HISTORY
Ripley was founded in Wayne, Michigan in 1922. In 1958, to take advantage of the emerging distribution opportunities in the Memphis area, Ripley moved to Collierville, Tennessee. In the early 1970’s, Ripley opened an additional facility, this one located in Adamsville, Tennessee. The Adamsville facility primarily produced tube assemblies and transmission filters for the OEM automotive and automotive aftermarket industries. In the mid 1980's, the Collierville facility closed and we expanded the Adamsville facility. Concomitantly, Ripley's business model changed, and the company segued from supplying automotive parts, toward its current focus, which includes the heavy equipment, agricultural equipment, on-highway vehicle, and off-road vehicle markets.
Today, we continue to operate the facility in Adamsville, Tennessee, which has undergone further expansion, and another facility in nearby Iuka, Mississippi. Ripley Industries Corporate Headquarters reside in Adamsville, Tennessee.
